Instead
of wasting time let's jump into configuring your cam. This article
considers that you know the basic functionality of your cam.
Press button 2 (refer image 1) And then press button 3.
Now your cam screen must look like image 2.
As you can see that you can access your images via 5 wireless methods
1. Canon and other support cameras or devices.
2. Using an Android or iPhone (using Canon CameraWindow app).
3. Using PC, Laptop or a mac.
4. Directly printing using a printer.
5. The Cloud Services.
This post is constrained particularly to the Cloud Services. You may explore other features by yourself.
To much of your amusement you may share pics directly to -
1. Facebook.
2. Twitter.
3. Flickr.
4. YouTube.
5. Google Drive.
6. Email.
7. Or sync. with PC.
To configure cloud services select cloud using navigation keys numbered 3,4,5,7 in image 1 and then press 6.
The camera will ask to open the link http://www.canon.com/cig/ and follow the on screen instructions (Login/SignUp) and then press OK button ( Button 6) to authenticate.
The camera might ask you to connect to a WiFi network if not in WiFi range.
1. Click "Add New WiFi Products"
2. Click "Enter Authentication Code Here".
3. Copy the authentication code being displayed on the camera screen (In my case it is Canon-WiFi) and enter it into the browser.
4. Click Send in browser
5. Press OK (Navigate to OK and then press 6) in Cam.
6. Numbers will be displayed in cam make sure they are same as in the browser.
7. Press OK (Navigate to OK and then press 6) in Cam.
8. Click "Next" in browser.
9. Press OK in cam (Button 6)
10. In browser under "Web Service Settings" you have options to configure all the web-services you wish to use.
11. After you are done configuring your web services settings press the refresh button in Cam.
12. You are all set to share pics online.
Next time when you click a pic simply select the pic and press the 3 Button. And select the service you want to use.
Now your cam screen must look like image 2.
